Experience Rittisberg Ramsau
The Rittisberg in Ramsau am Dachstein is about 1 km away from the Ramsauerin and can therefore also be reached on foot. It is the adventure mountain par excellence. There are all kinds of things to experience here for young and old.
The highlights are definitely the summer toboggan run, the forest high ropes course and the flyline.
There's also archery, laser biathlon and a fairytale trail with a high-altitude playground.
To cool off, there is also the Ramsau Beach bathing lake with a large playground, beach volleyball court and much more.
Sattelberg hut with adventure trail
The Sattelberg is the perfect mountain for children in Ramsau. However, the adventure trail along the hiking path is not only exciting and interesting for the children, parents and grandparents will also be thrilled. Part of the trail is also passable with a pram.
Other highlights are the petting zoo and the forest playground with giant slide and water games at the fountain.
Mountain Go Kart Schladming
This action-packed experience is a highlight, especially for older children. First you take the Hochwurzen cable car to the starting point at 1,850m, where a breathtaking panorama awaits you.
Before you head down the 7 km long route, you get a short briefing from a guide. Now the fun can begin. The descent takes about 20 to 30 minutes. There will be some overtaking manoeuvres. It's best if you wait together every now and then in between, so you can start several small races.
Children from a height of 145 cm and a minimum age of 10
years are allowed to drive a go-kart on their own with the
consent of their parents, smaller children are taken on the lap.
Hopsiland Schladming Planai
Hopsiland is the highest playground in Styria. In summer, a children's programme is also offered here daily between 10:00 and 15:00.
The 1.5 km long circular trail starts at the Planai cable car mountain station. Along the route you follow in the footsteps of Hopsi, the World Cup mascot. Swings, slides, climbing elements, a three-part ball track and a water world await you.
If you are travelling with a pram, it is advisable to walk the route clockwise or take the inclined lift Hopsi-Express.
Children love being outside and exploring nature. On the numerous family-friendly hiking trails there are different stations with play opportunities, nature trails and much more. In this way, children are introduced to hiking in a playful way.
